About

Roger Rowley (b.1965) is a painter living and working in Chester. His practice reflects on physical and psychological experiences that explore concepts of absence, memory and identity depicted by seemingly insignificant possessions. At the root of this current series of works is a need to make sense of self and current realities. As an emerging artist, he has had work published in Artist Talk Magazine and edge-zine.com and is currently preparing for a solo exhibition in September 2023. Rowley is currently studying with the Open College of the Arts and looks forward to graduating in 2024.
